​LWIM is pleased to announce an exciting change. As of January 1st 2025, the practice is under new ownership. This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lake Washington Integrative Medicine, and we have been committed to ensuring that it enhances the care and services you receive.

​

The new ownership, Kate Chilson L.Ac., shares the same dedication to your health and well-being that you have come to expect from LWIM over the years. She will continue to provide the highest quality care, and all of the changes that will take place over the next year will no doubt be of the highest quality.

What this means for you:

Your Care: There will be no disruption in the care you receive.

​

Providers: You will continue to see Kate Chilson in the new location with the same standard and level of care you are accustomed to. The new location is 15 min south of the current one, near the I-405 and SR-520 interchange.  You can find info and book appointments at www.katechilson.com.

Your Records: If you are an existing patient of Kate Chilson L.Ac., as of January 1st, 2025 the electronic medical records maintained by Lake Washington Integrative Medicine will be transferred to Kate Chilson L.Ac. for continued management and safekeeping.

​

All hard copies of records and personal health information collected at Lake Washington Integrative Medicine since 2010 have been securely destroyed by Iron Mountain in accordance with Federal and State Laws that require organizations to securely destroy confidential or personally identifiable information. This process ensures that your medical records remain secure and accessible while maintaining compliance with all applicable privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

You will retain full access to your existing electronic medical records. If you wish to obtain a copy, or if you prefer to transfer your records to a different provider, please contact Kate Chilson L.Ac. directly after the effective date.

This transfer does not require any action on your part. If you have specific concerns or you have not been seen at Lake Washington Integrative Medicine by Kate Chilson L.Ac. and you would like to discuss records, please contact me at landry4@gmail.com
